" Salam, Selamat Hari Lahir Pa,",  I sent dis wished to my Bapa on his birthday. He was born on Saturday, 4th of August in a small village somewhere in Kudat. He is the only son to my grandparents and therefore he carried lots of responsibilities and also sacrificed along the way.

He told us lots about his hard life before, contohnya my bapa never celebrate his birthday when he was young as both of my grandparents are very poor and can't afford to buy him any gift or bake a cake. Another story dat my Bapa told us is, as he grow up he never get so excited about Hari Raya Celebration. He said, pagi raya orang akan pakai baju baru, went to rumah saudara...makan itu ...ini, tapi Bapa I akan pulang ke rumah selepas sembahyang Raya n tukar baju dan akan terus pergi ke laut mencari ketam,ikan dll. Bapa bilang time raya teda pa yg boleh buat dia stop dr berkerja. Kawan2 bapa masa kecil selalu ketawakan bapa coz, hari raya orng seharusnya duduk dirumah atau ziarah kaum keluarga. But my bapa pula p laut n cari ketam. 

Masa I kecil pun bapa jarang ada dirumah time raya celebration, so either my siblings n my mum beraya d Kudat without him or we go back to Papar to celebrate it with my mama side of family. Some people will be reluctant if they have to spend the Hari Raya far away from their family. But my bapa said "kalau semua mau p beraya sapa mau keja?"

My Bapa hard time as he grow up rili inspire me to do da best for my future. I'm so lucky to have him as my Bapa as he already give the best as I grow up. So for me it's not the matter of celebration for his birthday will make him happy n proud. To obey and follow his advice will be something dat can make him happy.

"Terima Kashi, Bapa cuma mohon kamu semua jadi Anak kebanggaan Bapa, dan belajarla bersungguh2." ...My Bapa reply my wished for him....



The greatest gift I ever had
Came from Allah, and I call him Bapa!
